Director of Engineering - DocV
We are looking for a Director of Engineering with 10+ years of software development experience including 5+ years in a technical leadership role to lead our Document Verification (DocV) product engineering team. We are seeking an exceptional, empathetic, and hands-on leader to guide the team's technical direction, shape product strategy, and deliver innovative solutions. This is a pivotal role that will have a significant impact on the business by fostering the growth of a high-performing engineering group dedicated to establishing trust in digital transactions.
What you will do:

Lead and manage a team of 7 - 10 backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Drive the technical strategy and architectural decisions for the DocV product, ensuring solutions are scalable and robust, utilizing modern technologies like AI/ML and cloud infrastructure.

Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Data Science, and Infrastructure to conceptualize and deliver new features.

Collaborate with leadership to define the DocV roadmap and drive its execution to meet business goals and KPIs.

Mentor and coach engineers, set high standards for code quality and security, and champion innovation to keep Socure at the forefront of the industry.
