We are looking for a Director of Engineering with 10+ years of software development experience including 5+ years in a technical leadership role to lead our Document Verification (DocV) product engineering team. We are seeking an exceptional, empathetic, and hands-on leader to guide the team's technical direction, shape product strategy, and deliver innovative solutions. This is a pivotal role that will have a significant impact on the business by fostering the growth of a high-performing engineering group dedicated to establishing trust in digital transactions.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a team of 7 - 10 backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Drive the technical strategy and architectural decisions for the DocV product, ensuring solutions are scalable and robust, utilizing modern technologies like AI/ML and cloud infrastructure.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Data Science, and Infrastructure to conceptualize and deliver new features.

  • Collaborate with leadership to define the DocV roadmap and drive its execution to meet business goals and KPIs.

  • Mentor and coach engineers, set high standards for code quality and security, and champion innovation to keep Socure at the forefront of the industry.
