Product Owner (backfill)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly adaptable Product Owner to operate across a portfolio of mission-critical logistics and terminal operations products. This role supports multiple Scrum teams distributed globally and requires someone who can quickly ramp across domains, provide clarity, and drive execution in a dynamic environment.
You will serve as a “floater” Product Owner, stepping in where demand is highest across teams building systems that power marine and rail terminal operations. These include core operating platforms, billing systems, ERP-related functionality, traffic and track control systems, and data/analytics platforms.
This is a high-impact role where strong product judgment, communication, and execution discipline are essential to keeping teams aligned and delivering value consistently.

-
Partner with 10–15 Scrum teams across the U.S., Mexico, and Ukraine, adapting to shifting priorities and team needs
-
Own and drive product work across a suite of logistics platforms, including terminal operating systems, rail/intermodal solutions, billing systems, and operational tooling
-
Translate complex operational and business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
-
Manage and prioritize multiple product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical dependencies
-
Lead Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) to drive team effectiveness and delivery
-
Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to unblock teams and maintain delivery momentum
-
Balance short-term execution needs with longer-term product and platform considerations
-
Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving requirements across multiple product areas
What We’re Looking For
-
Proven experience as a Product Owner supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously
-
Strong command of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed and cross-cultural teams
-
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality user stories and define clear acceptance criteria
-
Strong backlog management skills, including prioritization across competing initiatives
-
Experience leading and facilitating Scrum ceremonies in fast-paced environments
-
Ability to quickly ramp on new domains and contribute with minimal onboarding
Nice to Have
-
Experience working with logistics, supply chain, transportation, or terminal operations systems
-
Exposure to billing platforms, ERP systems, or operational control systems
-
Familiarity with data platforms, reporting, or dashboarding tools
-
Experience working in globally distributed team environments
Additional Details
-
This is a contract role with the opportunity to work across a diverse and evolving product ecosystem
-
The role requires flexibility, as you will shift between teams and priorities based on business needs
-
Teams are distributed across Seattle, Mexico, and Ukraine, with a mix of fully local and cross-regional collaboration
