ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Analytics Engineer will play a critical leadership role in shaping and scaling our client’s data infrastructure, strategy, and analytics culture. This role owns the evolution of a modern data stack, delivering trusted, high-quality data models and enabling data-informed decision-making across the business.

As a senior member of the analytics organization, you will act as both a technical leader and a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams including marketing, product, engineering, operations, and finance. Your work will directly influence growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Own the architecture and governance of end-to-end data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best-practice standards.

  • Lead the design and implementation of core data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to support advanced analytics, reporting, and experimentation.

  • Drive alignment on data definitions, metrics, and source-of-truth models across teams.

  • Mentor and develop analytics engineers and analysts, raising technical quality and reinforcing a data-driven mindset.

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify high-impact opportunities where data can unlock meaningful business value.

  • Optimize data warehouse performance, workflows, and query efficiency.

  • Champion modern analytics tooling and practices including dbt, orchestration frameworks, version control, testing, and documentation.

  • Enable self-serve analytics through scalable data products, dashboards, and exploration tools designed for business stakeholders.


QUALIFICATIONS

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5–8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data architecture, or data engineering, with ownership of end-to-end data solutions.

  • Proven experience building and scaling cloud-based data ecosystems using tools such as dbt, orchestration platforms, and modern cloud data warehouses.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python with strong data modeling and transformation expertise.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience defining and operationalizing data governance, quality frameworks, and performance optimization practices.

  • Strong communication skills with a track record of translating complex data challenges into clear business insights.

  • Ownership-oriented, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
