Why This Role

This is a rare opportunity to own a high-visibility platform transformation — rebuilding and unifying a digital experience used by hundreds of thousands of participants across health and wealth products. You will define the roadmap, establish the product practice, and shape what a unified experience means in the hands of users. You’ll have direct visibility to executive leadership and the autonomy to do it right.

We value drive and trajectory over tenure. If you’ve built something complex, learned a challenging domain quickly, and left things better than you found them — we want to talk.

About Our Client

Our client is a national consumer-directed benefits provider serving employers across all 50 states. The company delivers comprehensive health, financial, lifestyle, and compliance solutions that empower employers and employees to maximize the value of their benefits.

Our client offers solutions including flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, COBRA administration, commuter benefits, lifestyle accounts, retirement solutions, and benefits administration services.

Our client is investing in a modern, unified digital experience that brings health and wealth products together under one cohesive platform — helping users, employers, and partners easily understand and engage with their full benefits picture.

Role Summary

Our client is seeking a Product Manager to lead the modernization and unification of its mobile applications and web portals as part of a unified digital experience initiative.

A key mandate is the convergence of health and wealth — bringing together consumer-directed health accounts and financial wellness and retirement products into a single, cohesive participant experience. Today these are separate; this Product Manager will drive their unification across mobile and web.

This role also includes consolidation of multiple distinct portals serving participants, employers, and brokers across benefits and retirement products — each with distinct compliance requirements and workflows.

The Product Manager will be accountable for defining product vision, bringing structure and repeatability to a team in active growth, and delivering measurable outcomes across multiple Scrum teams located both domestically and internationally.

This role reports directly to executive product and technology leadership.

Requirements

Experience

3+ years Product Management experience supporting mobile or portal products. Exceptional candidates with less experience demonstrating strong fundamentals and rapid growth will be considered.

Experience in regulated industries such as benefits, healthcare, fintech, insurance, or financial services

Experience managing Agile teams across onshore and offshore environments

Experience modernizing or consolidating digital platforms

Domain Expertise

Experience in benefits, healthcare, insurance, or fintech is strongly preferred — specifically familiarity with consumer-directed accounts or retirement-related products. Candidates from adjacent regulated industries with a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on complex domains will also be considered.

Domain fluency is a meaningful differentiator given the complexity of the product landscape.

Product Leadership Capabilities

Ability to create clarity and structure in complex, ambiguous environments

Strong prioritization and decision-making skills

Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without authority

Comfort balancing customer needs with compliance constraints

Technical & Delivery Acumen

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and platform architecture

Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is for a builder — someone who creates order from complexity, earns trust with engineering teams, and holds a product vision steady through organizational change.

Successful candidates bring structure where ambiguity exists, can navigate a complex multi-product domain, and deliver progress across multiple workstreams while maintaining long-term platform direction.

We value drive and trajectory over tenure. If you’ve built something complex, learned a challenging domain quickly, and left things better than you found them — we want to talk.
