The Role

Our client is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (5–10+ years experience) to take end-to-end ownership of complex, full-stack systems powering a GenAI remediation platform.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an engineer who thrives in ambiguity, operates with ownership, and can translate evolving product intent into scalable, production-grade systems.

You will help solve one of the hardest challenges in Generative AI today: diagnosing and remediating failures in live AI systems.

Role Breakdown:

• ~80% hands-on development

• ~20% architecture, technical planning, and mentorship

What You’ll Do

• Design and ship production-grade platform features powering AI remediation workflows

• Build and maintain full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python

• Contribute to system design and architectural decisions

• Own projects end-to-end — from technical approach through production release

• Improve reliability, performance, observability, and scalability across distributed systems

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership

• Mentor junior engineers and elevate engineering standards

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience & Background

• 5–10+ years building production-grade software systems

• Deep full-stack experience with:

  • TypeScript

  • React

  • Node.js

  • Python

• Experience building or integrating AI / LLM-powered products in production

• Demonstrated ownership of projects from concept to release

• Strong system design and architecture contributions in prior roles

• Based in the United States

Technical Strength

• Strong architectural reasoning for production applications

• Experience building and debugging distributed systems

• Hands-on experience with AI system components in production

• Strong debugging, observability, and performance optimization skills

Operating Style

• Acts like an owner

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity

• Thrives in a fast-moving, engineering-led environment

Nice to Have

• Startup experience (Seed to Series A/B)

• Experience working in short sprint cycles

• Prior work with observability tooling or AI infrastructure platforms

What This Role Is Not

• Not a pure ML research role

• Not backend-only

• Not frontend-only

• Not a pure AI/ML engineer without full-stack production experience
