Location: Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days/week in office)
Compensation: $200,000-$250,000 base salary + equity

They are seeking a Product Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, product, and leadership. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who enjoys owning problems end-to-end, making strategic tradeoffs, and driving measurable outcomes.
This is not a narrowly scoped engineering position. You will own major product areas, work directly with stakeholders, and help shape both product direction and technical execution.
What You'll Do
- Own and lead significant product initiatives from concept through launch
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, product leaders, and technical teams to identify opportunities and solve complex problems
- Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, user-focused solutions
- Build, deploy, and maintain production systems that directly impact business outcomes
- Help define product strategy and influence roadmap decisions
- Evaluate tradeoffs between speed, quality, and long-term scalability
- Leverage modern AI tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity and product development
- Collaborate across functions to deliver high-impact customer experiences
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 7-10 years of experience building and shipping software products
- Proven track record owning products or major features end-to-end
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments or high-performing technology organizations
- Strong product mindset with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive outcomes with minimal oversight
Technical Background
- Experience building, deploying, and operating applications on modern cloud or platform services
- Strong proficiency in:
- Python
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Experience monitoring and maintaining production systems
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and modern LLM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, or similar environments
- Previous startup, founding engineer, or entrepreneurial experience
- Experience working on products involving machine learning, data science, or AI systems
